It amazes me how people in main stream church so commonly call the Passover Feast -
Easter, a word that comes from a Babylonian Goddess. The customs they practice with eggs and bunnies have more to do with the celebration of fertility than resurrection. How can people be so blind that they can't recognize this??? It truly baffles me. I was just ask, "Did you have a good Easter" how offensive this is to me. No, I did not have a good Easter. I did enjoy the Passover and celebrated the resurrection of my Savior. No eggs, bunnies were involved.
The Hebrews who came out of Egypt were told to slay all the pagan in the land that God was bringing them into, and if not then they, and their customs would become a snare to them and turn them away from following Him. Indeed. Need I say more?
I know that the tone of this is harsh but I am sick of being slimmed with pagan rituals and Christians saying that this is all in worship of God. God never commanded us to dress our children up and hunt Easter eggs in celebration of His son's resurrection. REALLY people- wake up! God is calling us to pure worship of Him and we can not do this with the filth and harlotry of pagan idols. Come Clean Bride and choose to follow the Savior free from the trappings of idolatry.
